Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Graphics Technician.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements.
• Must be detail oriented and have strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent. 
• Must be able to use a tape measurer
• Ability to work with their hands
• Follows direction well
• Strong team player with the ability to build and foster working relationships.

Job Scope

As a Graphics Technician you will be installing vinyl graphics on a range of surfaces.

Responsibilities: 

• Apply vinyl to various types of substrates to create signage products
• Inspect, clean, and assemble work area before beginning work.
• Check all cutout patterns to be used in the process to ensure that they conform to dimensional data, photographs, blueprints, samples, and/or customer specifications.
• Select vinyl materials as required by projects being assembled.
• Operate laminator machine to cut vinyl into designated shapes and sizes.
• Use exacto knife to remove needed pieces from vinyl and remove backing.
• Pat or press layers of saturated vinyl into place and smooth out wrinkles and air bubbles with hands or squeegees.
• Check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects by checking them visually.
• Cure materials by letting them set at room temperature or placing them under heat lamps
